Final Four Picks

The brackets are out, and out of all the blogs I’ve read, I think I’m the first to list ‘em, so here are my Final Four picks:

  • Midwest: Butler
  • West: Kansas
  • East: UNC
  • South: Texas A&M

They aren’t conservative by any means, but, hey, that’s OK. It’s March Madness, baby! And go Heels!

Token Prediction

Bears: 24, Colts: 14.

Beckham on His Way

I knew former England captain and Real Madrid star David Beckham was coming to the MLS. Only a matter of time. But I thought he was going to New York (Red Bull NY), not L.A (the Galaxy). Oh well. Here’s the story for all you soccer fans (I think it’s just me, though). [link]

My favorite team, D.C. United, plays Beckham at home in August. Might have to make it up there for that….

The Dirty Bird is Back

Well, it’s not the Atlanta Falcons, but the Bird is Back.

There’s another Jamal Anderson this year. We call him Brian Westbrook. Westbrook ran for 141 yards and a score. He even had one called back on account of penalties.

Oh yeah, Akers hit the 38-yard game winner with no time left to win it. We play the New Orleans Saints next Sat. night, and it’s going to be a great game. I also really love how all the announcers are jumping on the Eagles bandwagon now. It’s like Dick Vitale with Duke/Carolina: whoever is playing the best is who he’s pulling for. It’s annoying. Knock it off.

Tag-Team Blogging With Tadd (Shh…He Doesn’t Know)

I’m going to piggyback off of Tadd’s recent post about our beloved Eagles. Not only will they clinch a playoff berth with 1win out of the next 2, but if they win out against Dallas (away) and Atlanta (home), they will win the division. Again, with no D-Nabb.

If I remember correctly, it was another McNabbless Eagles in 2005 that made it to the Super Bowl, on the back of one A.J. Feeley. If we can do it with Feeley, I’m sure Garcia will be just fine.

Can we do it again? Of course.
