2:9 – Psalm 53

Today’s Psalm, Psalm 53, is terrifying. It reveals a lot about who we naturally are…

  • A fool says that there is no God. We are all born doubting God. We commit sins, are oblivious to God, and no one does good 100% of the time. Also, see Romans 1
  • God looks down to see if there are any of us who seek Him. But alas, just as in the days of Noah and the Judges, there is no one who seeks after Him! This includes me.
  • We are blessed with air and food, and fail to acknowledge God. Especially today. It seems that we only blame Him for the evil in the world.
  • But there is hope…..Salvation comes from Zion. From the city of God, Jesus stepped into our time and space to restore our fortunes.

Praise God. Allaba que vive!
