Acts 29 Boot Camp / Assessment Thoughts

First of all, I’ll be blogging the notes later on. Right now, I’m beat. So is Miranda. We just got done with assessment, and went great. We really learned a lot about where we are now, where we’re headed, and what we need to be aware and cautious of. Regardless of the outcome of the assessment, I’m extremely glad that we went through with it. (Tyler, if you’re reading this…thanks for telling me to do it). Jason Roberts (of VA beach acclaim) and Winfield Bevins (of OBX fame - what great surfer hair [sort of like Chan Kilgore…]) We talked about theology, pentecostal backgrounds, campus ministry in Wal-Mart, and getting married. It was a whirlwind 2 hours, but extremely helpful. As of right now, we’re not changing any plans, just being very cautious and aware of what we’re doing, when we’re doing it, and how we’re doing it. We’re holding our plans loosely and clinging to Christ tightly. It’s all we can do. Tonight? Driscoll at Convergent. Should be fun…stay tuned.
