Man, this is going to be a busy month! For the last couple of weeks, I’ve been meeting with people about coming to our first Echo Group, which starts next Tuesday. It’s been a blast seeing new faces, reminiscing with old faces, and just hanging out with people. I’m seriously stoked about what Christ is going to do here in little ‘ol Greenville, NC. So what’s coming down the pipe?
- We start our first Echo Group next Tuesday night, and we are starting pregnant already. We will have anywhere from 5-15 people who are just ready to learn about Christ. We’ll be going through John Piper’s book, Don’t Waste Your Life, and it should be a great study. This coming Tuesday night is just an introduction to the study, what Harmony Church is trying to do, and just to get to know one another. It should be fun!
- We will be handing out
250150 bags on campus filled with school supplies and an invite to Echo Groups. They’re self-designed, so we saved a lot of money there. Vistaprint printed them off for us, and Affinity Bags are doing the bags for us. Should be a good outreach for us.
- I’ll be shooting a vision video at the end of the month, thanks to a good friend at Emergent Pictures, Kevin Wells. If you have any video needs at all, look him up, shoot him an email. - Last, but not least, we’re also going to have our final cookout at the end of the month. Should be a blast!
That’s what’s going on this month at Harmony Church. I can’t believe I get to do this.
