A Church That Matters
Posted in: Church Planting, Harmony Church

Greenville, NC is in trouble. At least 90,000 people in this area do not know Christ. This is survey data, so the number in actuality is likely much higher. Is it because they can’t find a church? No. Is it because they are drawn into other religions? For the majority of the 90K, no. Then what is keeping those 90,000 people from Christ? They haven’t seen a church they like. To put it bluntly, their own personal preference is separating them from an almighty Creator who loves them so much that He sent His only Son for their shortcomings.
But there is hope. Churches are being planted at an increasingly rapid rate in the area. And Christ still reigns here too. There are people who care about Greenville in Greenville. There is coming a church that wants nothing more than to see people flock to Christ with arms open and knees bowed. There is coming a community that loves with such a reckless abandon that others ask why. That lives for a profound yet simple purpose: to make Jesus famous. That spreads this Way of life to others without shame. That community is Harmony Church.
We want to present the Gospel in such a clear and compelling way that anyone who walks in can not only understand the News, but will revel in it. We want to provide an environment that removes all barriers to Christ except the Cross itself. We want to rock faces off. We want to push back evil in the area. We want to affect personal lives, and even entire communities. But most of all, above all else, we want to make Jesus famous. We want to be a spiritual stronghold for the Kingdom of Christ.
We want to be a church that matters.
