Humor: Sermon Series Idea

I’m not one for sermon ’series’, but here’s an idea for what could possibly be the greatest sermon series idea ever:

The Gospel According to New Kids on the Block

  • Step By Step: Salvation by works will get you nowhere.
  • Didn’t I Blow Your Mind?: Only the grace of God saves.
  • The Right Stuff: Living the Christian life with the fruits and gifts of the Spirit.
  • Hanging Tough: Running the race with endurance.

That’s great. Just think of those possibilities. 1980s themed sanctuaries, instrumentals in the background, bad flannel shirts…wow. Feel free to use. :)
