Acts 29 Luncheon at Raleigh and an Interview in DC

I’m driving up to Vintage21 (link here) tomorrow morning for an Acts 29 Network luncheon (link) on the Legalities of Church Planting and Creativity in the Local Church. I’ll probably end up in the creativity seminar, simply because it is more relevant to where I am in the planting process. Not quite ready for the legalities yet, though it would be nice to have some sort of heads up on the processes necessary. Anyone have any resources on the legal aspects of church planting?

Also, this weekend after I teach Sunday, I’m driving up to D.C. to meet with Todd Wilson of Passion4Planting (link) for a podcast interview on Monday. It’s the National New Church Conference podcast (link), so I’m really excited and nervous (especially since we’re still about 2 years out from planting) about it, but it’s an awesome opportunity that I’m really grateful for. Plus, I get to hang out in the city I love with the people to which I’m called. It’s going to be a great Martin Luther King holiday for me; I bet DC is a great place to be on Monday!

Oh well, keep me in your prayers, and I will definitely be letting you know how both the luncheon and the DC trip go.
