Starting late last year, I started making a list of goals I want to achieve before I die. In no particular order, and only chosen in the order that I wrote them (stream of consciousness style), here’s the first 20, with highlights in bold:

1. Pastor a church.
2. Baptize someone.
3. See the 7 churches of Paul.
4. Get married.
5. Take a road trip with no destination.
6. Go to the Super Bowl.
7. See the Philadelphia Eagles win it.
8. Go to the World Cup.
9. Hike the Appalachian Trail.
10. Go to Jerusalem.
11. Drive across America.
12. Throw a huge Easter party.
13. Run a marathon.
14. Go deep sea fishing.
15. Pilgrimage to St. Peter’s.
16. Run with the bulls in Pamplona.
17. Go to Burning Man.
18. Sail far.
19. Memorize a few books of the Bible.
20. Patent something.
