The Required Monday Morning Football Post
Posted in: Sports, DCWell, sort of. My beloved Eagles didn’t play this past weekend (they were on a much needed bye), so we will talk about another football team this week: DC United. They played OK against the New England Revolution in the MLS Cup conference championship yesterday, but they still lost 1-0. It just seems that this year isn’t my year for my sports teams. Instead of the Madden curse, it’s the Derek curse. Maybe I should start pulling for the New York Giants…..
There’s always next week, when the Eagles take on the ‘Skins. Go birds!
Come on now, the Giants? Stop talking crazy! Once an Eagles fan, always an Eagles fan. But at least you didn’t say Cowboys cuz then we might have to meet at the flagpole to fight.

Well, I would root only for the Giants if the Derek curse applied to them too. So they would lose. Trust me, I would never leave or forsake my beloved Eagles. They are definitely winning the Bowl this year.
