What a great time of the year. For outreach. For being the church. For seeing families come together, when every other day of the year (save Thanksgiving and Christmas) they’re apart. Miranda and I are having a very small get together tonight with some finger food, cider, etc. We’re just watching some movies and enjoying handing out candy to the children in the neighborhood. We really get to express our personality to the people living in the neighborhood. So what exactly are we doing? Exactly what Christ did: we’re taking what the Devil had and redeeming it for Jesus.
PS: I completely agree that we should use Halloween to teach our children the principle of tithing.
